The University of KwaZulu-Natal uses a specific method to calculate your Admission Point Score (APS).

How UKZN Calculates Your APS:

Your APS is calculated using your best 6 NSC/IEB subjects (excluding Life Orientation)
UKZN uses a different APS table than other universities - see below
Many programs have specific subject requirements in addition to the APS score

Important Note

UKZN has unique APS requirements for each faculty. Medicine typically requires an APS of 36+, while other programs may accept scores between 26-30 depending on the field of study.
