Wits APS Calculation Method

The University of the Witwatersrand uses a specific method to calculate your Admission Point Score (APS).

How Wits Calculates Your APS:

Subject 1: Mathematics (with bonus points for higher scores)
Subject 2: Life Orientation (scored differently)
Subjects 3 & 4: Two languages (English gets bonus points)
Subjects 5-7: Three additional subjects of your choice
Bonus Points: English and Mathematics get +2 bonus points for scores 60%+
